The new TIFAIN Diamond facade tile is created using advanced parametric tools to integrate all innovative ideas into one framework. Flexibility and speed of design process have helped achieving high goals with ease. Moreover, parametric framework presents a great method for establishing design search space and enable any further improvements and optimizations - not only on facade module scale, but on facade and building as a whole.
This sets a new paradigm in a facade and building design.
TIFAIN Diamond facade is supported by a cable net structure with custom-designed aluminum holders to ensure minimal weight of the facade and eliminate grid look. Minimal structure also means more transparency, seamless appearance, clear views and brighter indoor spaces.
LUXION® is a brand new material, created at the RCR laboratories in Siena with a special mix of the purest raw materials to ensure the highest quality with the least environmental impact. Because LUXION® glass have a high hydrolytic resistance, similar to a lead crystal, it remains clear over time. It is also humidity resistant and does not mist over, which ensures a great protection for the encapsulated PV cell. Furthermore, thanks to its superior transparency, complete colorlessness and bespoke light transmission (the highest in the industry), LUXION® represents an ideal material for the facade implementation.
Another option for a substrate is durable, UV-resistant and highly-transparent plastics like PMMA and Polycarbonate.
Both options allow more light for indoors and more PV energy production than common glass.
