Architect, he graduated at Politecnico di Milano, Milan (Italy), in 2011. Later he obtained a Ph.D. degree in Building Technology at Politecnico di Milano in 2016, with funding granted by Italian Ministry of Education (2012-2016).
Ever since graduation, he has collaborated as Teaching Assistant in various courses in Architecture Master and at the Architecture Science Bachelor at the School of Architecture, Urban Planning and Construction Engineering of Politecnico di Milano. He has also been Thesis advisor for Architecture students both at Bachelor and at Master level.
Between 2012 and 2016 he has been involved in the research project “S(P)EEDKITS - Rapid deployable kits as seeds for self-recovery” under the supervision of prof. Alessandra Zanelli. In particular, He collaborated with the research team on the development of rapid deployable shelter kits as seeds for self-recovery in post-disaster situations, and on optimizing and simplifying the packaging process while minimizing risks during deployment and reducing waste and unnecessary material.
His research interests focus on dry construction methods that use extremely precise components and devices. Recently, he has been engaging in designing, manufacturing and testing lightweight structures in BIM workflow, in order to evaluate the whole lifecycle: design, construction and operations. Since 2016 he is also collaborating with important architecture firms (Oneworks DMCC, D.Vision Architecture Srl) and construction companies (Pessina Costruzioni Spa) as BIM specialist. Currently he is working on BIM management of large, worldwide construction procurements such as underground stations, hospitals and schools.
